Trevor Overton - General Manager - Director
Trevor Overton has almost 30 years experience in surface engineering. Trevor served as General Manager of Austral Technologies from 1993 to 2001 and returned in 2003 to retake the position of General Manager, Managing Director and part owner of Austral Technologies. Trevor's previous role was as the Sales and Marketing Director of another Surface Engineering and Fabrication company.
Trevor's focus is on overall company management, project and business development, maintaining and developing customer relations, research and industry liaison.
Trevor has a trade background and more recently enrolled at Murdoch University to study towards an MBA in International Business.
Ross Browne - Works Manager - Director
Ross Browne has 25 years experience in surface engineering. Beginning his career at Austral Technologies in 1996, Ross was instrumental in the early development of Austral Technologies' state of the art PTA (Plasma Transferred Arc) welding machine. Ross served for a short time as Estimator before being appointed Works Manager. Since 2003, Ross has served as Works Manage, Director and part owner of Austral Technologies.
Ross's focus is on workshop production and scheduling. Ross also focusses on development of the PTA market.
Ross has a trade background, which is most useful when designing new equipment.
